Internal Switches doing other stuff

I was wondering whether the dual switches which are possible to connect to the 4.3B directly, can it do stuff other than to scroll to next/previous presets like a dedicated tap tempo or the other switch sending a set to cc messages and stuff like that. Something assignable or something doing the job of the midi extension.

On a side note, i dont know if its too much ask, is it possible to give a 90 degree rotation option?

i totally understand it needs a layout designed for its own. But on a pedal board that im using now, the screen’s got a place only like a portrait.

Hi, and thanks.

With the dual footswitches, yes in the web config you can go to the "Int" tab. You can set the presets to disabled, and set the footswitches to send Midi CC values. Tap tempo, effects switching all possible.

Note there is a bug in the current release where the footswitches don't respect the disabled state. Its fixed now but not released yet. I can give you preview build with it fixed if you need.

Do you mean portrait mode for the 4.3B? Its the toughest one. I am in the process of migrating the UI design to EEZ Studio. Once I get that sorted, I can look more at this one. It has been requested a few times.

Hi. You are welcome. Which issue do you have with the footswitches? The current release V1.0.10.2 has fixed the one mentioned above with the footswitches not being able to be disabled.

Awesome.. I need a female trs jack to connect my dual switch with my 4.3B, will get it and ask for the bug fixed release. Or, its good, if you plan to release meanwhile, after migration is done.

This is really cool. Is it possible to use the dual switches to move up and down banks, and the chocolate to select the tone (1-4) within the current bank?

Hi Keith. Unfortunately this is not possible. The Chocolate pedal stores the current bank inside its memory. I don't believe there is any way to change that from the outside.
You could achieve this without the Chocolate, using the SX1509 expander board and making your own footswitch controller. You could make one with 6 footswitches and then have bank up/down on dedicated switches. Or add some more footswitches and also toggle effects.
