USB host with lithium battery on 4.3b

Hi,

There really is no way to get usb host support powering the 4.3b by a lithium battery ? That would be very over the top.... I've read about a 'boost' pin or something similar.... just asking and desiring... Thanks for the great work anyway !!!

Hi. A lithium battery works over a voltage range of approx 3.0 to 4.2 volts. USB works on 5 volts.
I don't think its possible to have the 4.3B internal battery run USB, but yes there are boost regulators that can increase the voltage.
This would need to be outside of the 4.3B.

A typical USB power bank consists of a battery and a boost circuit. It's probably easier to use this kind of device. Some other users are using a power adaptor device that allows a power bank to power the Tonex and the 4.3B both via USB.
