Hi. You should be aware, there is a slopped-out website impersonating the project: https://ripgrep.org. I Googled "ripgrep" today and this was the third result. I would suggest filing a complaint with Google, Porkbun (the registrar), and Cloudflare (who appears to be hosting the site).
The Helix editor is currently having a similar problem. (https://helixeditor.com/, helix-editor/helix#13744)
I'd suggest you take action on this for a couple of reasons. A website impersonating the ripgrep project is a serious security issue. Note the "Download" link on the front page links directly to a file download. This currently appears to be linking to https://github.com/BurntSushi/ripgrep/archive/refs/heads/master.zip, but can be swapped out for malware any time. Also, this website is slop -- aside from being hilariously / depressingly off-topic (whatever language model generated seems to consider ripgrep a software-as-a-service??), slop is slop is slop with little guarantee of accuracy. Already, people have been mislead by the claim of features that do not exist on the Helix slopsite (helix-editor/helix#14321) and people here, too, have wasted their time on slop that purports to be ripgrep documentation (#3346, a different website).
Anyway, just wanted to let you know. Cheers. :-/
