While estimating needs for sizing and scaling is difficult and unique depending on how you evaluate, it would be great to provide some examples and guidelines in our documentation.
Example of useful commentary and content:
- For the API we recommend horizontal scaling over vertical scaling.
- Reference table for small, medium, large production-ready deployments with SKUs and number of instances for the different moving parts.
- Which metrics to monitor to guide your decision to scale out or not.
