Running run_main.py results in NotImplementedError

Hi, thank you for your contribution. I successfully cloned the repository and installed the required modules in a python virtual environment on a Linux machine, but upon attempting to launch run_main.py, I get a NotImplementedError (see screenshot) that asks me to provide a .ply or .yml file.

It does not appear like there is an option to provide a file as an input argument, and attempting to click the 'Add Scene' button within the load column in the GUI results in an Ubuntu Internal error popup.

Any help is gratefully appreciated. Thank you!

this is not an error this is just bad software design :D

You now click on browse in the upper left and select a 3dgs scene in the file browser. I try to make this more intuitive

Thank you for the quick reply and providing clarification.

I have an Ubuntu Internal error occur on my system when attempting to click the "Browse 1" or "Add Scene" button. It seems to be an incompatibility with my file manager (Dolphin) or maybe something with KDE/Qt5, however, so it may just be a problem with my particular setup (Kubuntu 24.04).

I will try to look into it and see if I can resolve it; hopefully it is an easy fix. However, if you have an idea on how to update the code to resolve the error it would be gratefully appreciated. Thank you for your help.
