[Bug report] Plugin not detecting chapter content

Describe the bug
When I use advanced mode without merge to translate function, the plugin only identified the chapter names but none of the chapters' content. When I did use merge however, the plugin detected the chapter content. However, I do not want to use merge. How do I get advanced mode to work without merge?

Hi, I don't know what merge is but I know I'm having a similar problem. Some files have translated fine and then other files are only having the table of contents detected and none of the actual content. It just says chapter 1, chapter 2, ect with no other text. I'm not sure why some of the files work but others don't when I am not changing any settings between files.

Windows, Calibre 9.2.1, translator 2.4.1
