if you delete a source/topic by highlighting, the exit source/topic doesn't disappear

When you delete a source/topic w/ backspace, the exit does disappear.
It should work the same when you do a highlight delete.

Also, when you cut a source or topic but not the exit source/topic, the exit source/topic should also disappear.
