I am trying to get rid of the KPN Box but did not yet succeed. IP-TV however runs via my UCG Ultra (same sw versions as you have). For IP-TV to work I only enabled the IGMP Proxy in the internet settings. I did not install Fabian's script. (due to issues with SSH which I can't get working for the UCG, no problems for the access points. I think this is also related to the new Network versions)

Thats actually a new feature that wasn't there before. You need a bunch of settings to make this work but I can't find the right combination yet. Hope someone can help. |

I have it now like this. Did not install any scripts. KPN fiber box thinghy direct to the UCG Ultra. No KPN router/modem in between. The VLAN ID is relevant, 6 is what you need to set for KPN. (see readme.md in this repo) I did not bother to change the IPv6 settings. Some reading on that can be found here: https://gathering.tweakers.net/forum/view_message/78236326

@mhurk are you sure that VLAN should be 6? I'm using the IPTV vlan as 4 and I don't think I expertience issues.

Unfortunately no, I can't get the script to work.
I have yet to figure out the UniFi way to. I'm considering opening up a
support ticket because it just won't work.

Too bad. I would also like to get this working for KPN without having to “mess” with the unifi software/SSH, but although I thought to have read that that was now possible, I start to get the feeling that that is not the case. At least not if you want to use multicast. Would be great if unifi can offer the required options in the ui. |

But probably in unicast? Tv showing Live instead of LIVE? Or first LIVE and then switching to Live? Internet works like a charm, but it is the IPTV in multicast (which offers full quality) that requires some additional things I understand. |

Ah yes, in unicast mode. If I switch to multicast switching to other channels is slow. TV shows LIVE in the menu/overview, Live when a channel is selected. |

Interesting! thanks! I am certain that I read on multiple sites that multicast will have better quality (and switching channels will indeed be faster), but the link you shared (and when asking chatgpt) it seems that there should be no quality difference, only bandwidth difference when watching on multiple devices at the same time. Quite confusing to be honest. If the latter is true, there is indeed no real reason for me to make multicast work. |

Ever since I updated the Network version on my Unifi Gateway Ultra this morning my IPTV doesn't work anymore. It's on version 9.3.43 now with OS version 4.3.6.
I use the udm-iptv script.
When i start the decoder it gets stuck at 85%.
