Describe the Bug

Hardware:

• UDM SE
• KPN TV box: VIP5202
• Internet VLAN ID 6
• IPTV VLAN ID 4

Long story short:

• Regular software updates for for IPTV (VIP5202) doesn't work via Unifi dream machine SE.
• The VIP5202 stays in a boot/download loop.
• It only works via the official Fritzbox from KPN

Expected Behavior

The videoland must start in 1-3 seconds.

You could try the following:

• set setting IPTV_WAN_RANGES in /etc/udm-iptv.conf to “0.0.0.0/0” and restart the udm-iptv service (systemctl restart udm-iptv)
• create a separate local network (VLAN) for your TV box, and configure the port on the switch or gateway to which the TV box is connected with that network as native network
• in the Unifi Network Application, set the DNS servers on the VLAN for your TV box to the official KPN DNS servers 195.121.1.34 and 195.121.1.66 (or if you use KPN’s anti-malware service: 195.121.97.202 and 195.121.97.203)
