So Spook is already great at finding orphans within combined sensors, automations and the like - and this works fantastically.
It's saved my behind, especially after two of my Aqara leak sensors failed, I replaced them with Ikea Matter devices, but didn't add these new devices into the automations and alerts. As soon as I deleted them from Zigbee2MQTT - Spook was off like a shot letting me know so I could fix those mistakes, and not risk missing a water leak notification when my upstairs neighbours flood the shared sink line again (yes, that happened).
It would be fantastic to see if Spook's orphan logic could add some real heft, by evaluating the core HomeKit integration in HA, and helping users to answer the question "Hey, which of my HA devices, sensors and controls" aren't being exposed to my Apple Home through the HomeKit integration?"
Users don't often find out a device or control isn't being exposed until they either:
look for it in Apple Home,
Siri doesn't respond to a user's request to do something (looking at you, Kitchen Microwave Plug), or
They find out the hard way that a HomeKit bridge within HA's official integration has a maximum of 150 sensors per bridge, and despite the device being in the chosen domains for the bridge - it isn't coming across until you split your devices across multiple bridges (which in itself is a pain due to the GUI being a nightmare).
Appreciate putting this idea into the hopper, and seeing what comes out.

However, exposing devices and their controls to HomeKit within HA is a real PITA (I've just opened up a significant feature request over there on this problem, especially when it comes to homes with a large number of sensors).
