Bug? Can't release click-and-drag on new window

It seems that click-and-drop does not work correctly between monitors. I confirmed it works as expected when connected with the same mouse via direct bluetooth connection to the same computer. So something is not working right in Deskhop.

Scenario

1. Click-and-hold any window or desktop item.
2. Drag the item to another connected monitor.
3. Release the selected item.

Expected Behavior

1. The item deselects and is placed in the window area of the mouse.

Observed Behavior

1. The item does not deselect and moves with the mouse pointer.
2. When dragged across monitor boundaries, the item deselects right at the border between monitors. Which monitor the item ends up on depends on the item size, I think.
