librespot not showing up as a device on different devices

For some reason, librespot shows up in the desktop app (Spicetify on the same device that librespot is running on) as a device with zero issues, but isn't returned when I hit the "Get available devices" endpoint on Spotify's API and doesn't show up in the mobile app, either. It only shows up once I manually transfer playback to librespot via the desktop first. Does anyone have a fix for this?
