Hey, I ran into this exact issue a while back — managing UserProxy state in Streamlit is tricky because of how session_state interacts with the agent lifecycle.

I'''ve been meaning to put together a working example. The key pieces would be:

• Setting up the team (AssistantAgent + UserProxyAgent) with proper async handling in Streamlit'''s event loop
• Using st.session_state to persist the agent across reruns, since Streamlit reruns the whole script on each interaction
• A simple chat UI that pipes user input to the UserProxy and displays agent responses

Probably around 200-300 lines of Python with comments explaining the gotchas. Happy to include a short README too.
