The PlatformIO WSL experience is a mess.
The project wizard is unreliable, custom WSL locations break, and even opening a terminal can fail because the extension keeps invalid working directories.
This is a basic core workflow, not some edge case.
Users should not have to fight the IDE just to create a project.
At this point, the GUI is less useful than doing everything manually from CLI.
If the recommended workflow is broken, the product is not polished enough to claim proper WSL support.
