Feature: Export createUserData from userdata.ts on module

My usecase is setting up a custom launch template adjusting for example disk size and disk encryption. Also I'm adjusting other values, but I don't want to adjust userData.

So I wanted to use createUserData from userdata.ts, but this seems to be not exported and thus not available. Please export it, as it contains complex logic regarding AL2023 or AL2 I did not want to implement mysef.

Thanks for reporting this enhancement request. Currently, we'd like to maintain parity for all supported language SDKs, so exposing this implementation detail for only node JS SDKs would not be the ideal solution. While it would unblock nodeJS users, it may impact us with updating this implementation detail in the future if others rely on it.

In the meantime, would you be able to maintain your own fork/copy of this implementation?

As a workaround I copied the whole file incl. it's dependencies into my project. This is a sufficient solution for me until another solution is provided.

The userdata creation logic itself should be produce an equivalent output on each language implementation? So it would be much easier providing an own launch template without implementing the complex logic for AL2 and AL2023, Bottlerocket, etc itself
