As @MartinTDT wrote in kener #694, it is difficult to select, find, and assign monitors.
I would like to group monitors, but in a flexible way so that a single monitor can belong to more than one group at the same time.

Perhaps the best approach would be to:
With tags, we could then easily:
- Search for monitors by tag.
- Assign monitors to pages, maintenance windows, subscriptions, etc., based on their tags.

I tried using “talking names” (for example, adding prefixes to group monitors), but this approach does not work well in practice and becomes hard to manage.
Additional context
We plan to set up 400+ monitors, so having a proper tagging system would make organization and automation much more scalable.
