I am using renovate to update itselfs version with automerge. But renovate is not running anymore because the last updated version 43.123.5-full doesn't exists as a docker image.

Version 43.123.5 created the docker image with tag 43.123.5 (see dockerhub) but 43.123.5-full is missing.

My workaround is to manually update to the next version, 43.123.6.

then you've a wrong config. renovate should not suggest an update to a non-existing version by default.

We'd failed to publish 43.123.5 part-way due to an Actions issue (https://github.com/renovatebot/renovate/actions/runs/24484201604/job/71555794180) - investigating why your config is recommending that version would be worth doing

I am using the helm chart from https://github.com/renovatebot/helm-charts/blob/35584d879cba9c8409087948cd474d2fae600412/charts/renovate/values.yaml#L90 . I assume, that useFull is custom and expects that every releases creates a "normal" and a "full" tag.

you should then pin the tag to the full image tag explicit and let renovate update that separately

why are you using the full image? the slim should be much smaller 🤔
