I'm pleased to announce the full esp-hal@v1.1.0 release! Along with an accompanying esp-generate release, to bootstrap new projects.

This release features support for the ESP32-C5 (with 5GHz Wi-Fi already supported!) and ESP32-C61, whilst stabilizing some new APIs, mostly ready for our upcoming esp-radio 1.0.0-beta.0 release - checkout the full release notes for more details.

The maintainers are from IBM. Does wg-embedded want to offer itself as a co-maintainer and/or start a PowerPC team to help steer this, like they do for Arm and RISC-V?

Conclusion from meeting: Happy for such a team and effort to exist in the wg if someone wants to drive it, but don't see a need to create it otherwise
