cant create a project in an empty dorectory

How to reproduce

1. run npx shadcn@latest init --template vite in a directory
2. go with the defaults and enter a " . " for the "What is your project named? … ." question

similar issues, not sure if this is related but https://ui.shadcn.com/create is not loading across devices, browsers, and on different networks.

Yep, the website isn't working; it's happened before; you can't interact with anything on the site. (Bad timing, the site actually works :p) However, I was able to start the vite project. 🤔 I'm on Windows

notice the difference between yours and from @notcolumbus is that you gave a project name and op didn't... it was set a . , which normally is done to the project to be created in the folder the you currently is....
