What IDE should I use and how can I open this project?

Hello, I want to open your project with microchip studio, but I only see a .coproj file in the COIDE folder. After searching, it says that COIDE is used to edit the code, but COIDE is very old and not maintained. If I want to use microchip studio to edit the code, what should I do? Thank you

e.g. my editor of choice is vscode and for building you need cmake, make (cmake default) on ninja (faster) and arm-none-eabi gcc toolchain
