.WAV files output nothing but static when attempted to be played

Describe the bug
.WAV files output nothing but static when attempted to be played in Strawberry. I have only tested this with 4 channel .wav files

To Reproduce
Open strawberry player
Attempt to play .WAV files (not sure if it's just 4 channel or any .wav)
See error

Expected behavior
I should be able to hear the music being played

System Information:

• Operating system: Arch Linux, Linux 6.16.10-arch1-1 (x86_64)
• Strawberry Version: 1.2.13

Additional context
The .wav files play in ffmpeg. aplay does not. I wonder if it has something to do with that? If so then I'm not sure if this is specifically a strawberry issue but I don't know where to file a bug report for that.

Works here, I tested with a file I found here: https://freesound.org/people/BlueDelta/sounds/446753/
What output are you using, ALSA, PipeWire or PulseAudio? If PipeWire or PulseAudio, please test directly with ALSA first.
If it still occurs please send me a file which does not work.

It does not work with ALSA directly. It doesn't work with Pipewire nor PulseAudio either.

The files that don't work are a copy of Apostrophe(') by Frank Zappa I downloaded a couple of years ago.
